The California NWSS Center of Excellence will be hosting the annual Wastewater Surveillance for Public Health Conference

The California NWSS Center of Excellence is hosting its annual Wastewater Surveillance for Public Health Conference on July 21–22, 2026.

This hybrid event will offer attendance opportunities both in-person in Sacramento, CA at the California Endowment’s Center for Health Communities or virtually.

This free, two‑day conference will bring together practitioners, researchers, utilities, and public health partners to share new developments, best practices, and advances in wastewater surveillance. Across presentations, panels, and breakout sessions participants will explore practical approaches that translate wastewater data and insights into action.
