Explore Wastewater Surveillance Dashboards
Wastewater can be used to help track the spread of pathogens in our communities. It's often used to complement traditional clinical testing data. Explore these dashboards to view data on various pathogens in California and across the U.S.
CDPH WWS Dashboard
The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) Wastewater Surveillance (WWS) dashboard provides an overview of wastewater surveillance data for COVID-19, flu (influenza A, B, and H5), and RSV in California. This data is generated by those participating in the CDPH California Surveillance of Wastewaters (Cal-SuWers) network.
WastewaterSCAN Dashboard
The WastewaterSCAN dashboard visualizes wastewater surveillance data across the United States for sites participating in the WastewaterSCAN program. These pathogens include but are not limited to: COVID-19, flu (influenza A, B, and H5), RSV, human metapneumovirus, EVD68, norovirus, Candida auris, hepatitis A, mpox (clades Ib and II), and measles.
CDC NWSS Dashboards
CDC NWSS (National Wastewater Surveillance System) monitors a variety of infectious diseases in wastewater across the country. The CDC NWSS homepage includes links to dashboards for the following pathogens: COVID-19, flu (influenza A and H5), RSV, and mpox. Multiple WWS programs across the U.S. submit their results to generate the data displayed by the CDC.
